  • LIve Webinar United States (map)

Course Description:

This presentation will focus on implicit bias. Understanding and addressing implicit bias on the individual and institutional levels are critical for social work practitioners. In this training implicit bias will be defined and examples of bias will be discussed to illustrate how bias impacts individuals, groups, communities, and organizations. There will be an emphasis on how to identify bias individually and how self-reflection is necessary to understand and address this bias. Individual and systemic interventions to identify, recognize, and address bias will be shared for attendees to use in practice. This training will use exercises and small and large group discussions.
