Mental Health First Aid is the initial help given to a person showing symptoms of mental illness or in a mental health crisis.

Mental Health First Aid may be utilized until appropriate professional or other help, including peer and family support, can be engaged. YOU WILL LEARN: Potential Warning Signs & Risk Factors, 5-Step Action Plan (ALGEE), Impact of Mental Health & Substance Use, and Local Community Resources
