Course Description:

Currently, evidence-based clinical research takes an average of 17 years to become standard of practice. Implications of this lag are that patients may not receive available evidence-based care or may be treated with interventions that are known to be ineffective or harmful. The Learning Health System provides a framework to facilitate implementation of evidence-based practices by coordinating information technologies and behavioral change strategies to implement evidence-based knowledge products.
