Objectives:

By the conclusion of the lecture participants will:

1.    Discuss the basic concepts of the Unified PAC Model

2.    Apply lessons learned from the COVID-19 Crisis to their organization’s preparation for Unified PAC implantation

3.    Identify ways to advocate to for regulatory relief as the industry adapts the Unified PAC Model

 

Applicable to Social Work Practice:

The Unified Post-Acute Care (PAC) is changing the entire Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) reimbursement system and standardizing payment across the continuum. This will fundamentally change the way post-acute operates and will change the service delivery model. Throughout this presentation individuals will learn about the basic concepts of the Unified PAC Model and identify ways to apply lessons learned from the COVID-19 crisis to their organization’s preparation for Unified PAC implementation and advocate for regulatory relief as the industry adapts the Unified PAC Model.
