Course Description:

Ethics are more than guiding principles; they are foundations for practice. This seminar will provide an overview of the Code of Ethics and explore the many slippery slopes in boundaries and dual roles, social engagement, use of media, telehealth, confidentiality, etc. Focused attention will be on combatting vicarious trauma as an ethical issue. Opportunities to address stress and pain management will be included.
