Course Description:

Health professionals have yet to fully comprehend the long-term effects of COVID.  Many COVID infected patients who survive have ongoing neurological impairments and will be seen by practitioners and other healthcare professionals.  This presentation will summarize general principles of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2) as well as explain Central Nervous System (CNS) invasion and neurological and immune complications.
