Course Description:
Human trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, harboring, or receipt of people for purposes of slavery, forced labor, and servitude. You will learn what precisely human trafficking is and how to identify it. Discussion will include the overlaps between human trafficking and domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking; the scope and diversity of human trafficking in Michigan; and the myths surrounding human trafficking.
