Course Description:

This CE workshop is designed to provide attendees an introduction to the practice of Cyber Social Work and contemporary cyber addictions, including Nomophobia, Digital Dementia, Selfie Syndrome, FOMO and others. Participants will be exposed to the history of electronic Social Work, the use of technology and Social Media in micro, mezzo, and macro settings, technology as a tool for community action and social change, and professional liability/risks associated with online practice. Part I of a 3-Session Cyber Social Work Series.  Participants may take all 3 sessions for a reduced fee.  Those attending all 3 Cyber Social Work sessions are eligible to earn and receive a Cyber Social Work Certificate.
