Course Description:

Explore the effectiveness of assistive technology in helping older adults and people with disabilities maintain or obtain their independence. During this interactive workshop, you will have the ability to use and see many different low-tech devices that can impact independence and address bathing, grooming, cooking, eating, safety, hearing, memory, vision, mobility, recreation and more. You will also learn about the programs offered across the state through the Michigan Assistive Technology Program.

*Recommended for LBSW and LMSW beginning skill level
