Course Description:

Aphasia is one of the most common communication disorders following from stroke, traumatic brain injury and a variety of other neurogenic or degenerative disorders, including dementia.  This training will focus on post-stroke changes affecting speech, language, and interactive behavior skills.  Characteristics of aphasia will be presented in a functional intervention context.  This presentation is intended for a multidisciplinary audience.
