Course Description:
Discover the multidimensional aspects of treating those with persistent pain conditions in this interactive and dynamic class. We will examine new advances in clinical research, assessment tools and evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatments. We will also explore ethical considerations in opioid treatment, end-of-life care and societal barriers to appropriate pain management.
