Course Description:
The Virtual Series will provide the most up-to-date information on the ACE Initiative taking place in the areas of education, physical and behavioral health, and communityies, highlighting the critical networking and affirmation of the collaboration underway to identify and reduce the impact of ACEs in Michigan in these settings. The Michigan ACE Initiative started in 2016 by the Michigan Association of Health Plans and was subsequently supported by a two-year grant from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund to the Association's Foundation. The goal of the 2021 Virtual Seires is to continue the shift in conversation from awareness, resilience, equity and social determinants of health to best practices found in these communities throughout Michigan.
