Course Description:

This one hour presentation will focus on the improved ability to identify and address depression in adolescence. Depression in Adolescence presentation will cover the topics of how depression commonly presents in adolescence, how to differentiate between adolescent depression and other conditions, how to screen for adolescent depression in clinical settings, and best treatment options, including medication and/or therapy. Depression is underdiagnosed and undertreated in adolescents.
