Course Description:

 This training will assist the attendees in the understanding, identification, and treatment for women who experience a Perinatal Mood Disorders. Through active participation and video, participants will gain firsthand knowledge of pertinent questions when interviewing and assessing women and fathers with PMD. Small and large group discussion, role playing, and interviewing activities regarding symptoms, disorders, risk factors, treatment options, breastfeeding impacts, cultural perspectives, screening tools, and resources are addressed.
