Course Description:

Chronic pain and Opioid Use Disorder occur together frequently. If not understood and treated simultaneously successful outcomes are difficult to achieve. Understanding the overlaps and similarities can make this easier. Also appreciating a team approach is vital to treatment. There must be good communication amongst team members. There are plenty of factors to understand and use in this treatment process.
