Course Description:

This course will examine the importance of belonging, with an emphasis on multicultural children in the child welfare system.  This course will include an exploration of practices that assist foster care workers and parents/guardians in creating that vital sense of belonging and an examination of policies that support and promote diversity and difference, especially for multicultural children and families in the child welfare system.
