Narcotic Safety

  • Kirkland Grayling 4800 W. Four Mile Rd. Grayling, MI 49738 United States (map)

Course Description:

One of the most dangerous aspects of calls involving drugs is dealing with unknowns. Over the last decade, manufacturing and distribution of synthetic drugs has created extreme hazards for first responders, officers and home health care workers. If you cannot “recognize a hazard, you can’t protect yourself”. This training is designed for all public safety and health professionals who come in contact with subjects, enter residences (i.e. search warrants, probation checks, medical and fire calls) or conduct investigations. This course will also address specific hazards associated with manufacturing controlled substances (i.e. fentanyl, counterfeit tablets). This course primarily addresses officer and home health care professional safety and hazard assessment.
