Course Description:

This training will teach you to skillfully recognize and properly evaluate a person under the influence of drugs, understand the 7 step administration of the Drug Recognition Process, use the pupilometers and pen lights, understand drug physiology and pharmacology. This course will help you understand drug identification techniques and methods of use, recognition of drug signs and symptoms, drug paraphernalia, dangers of confronting subjects under the influence, and legal issues. You will understand the requirements for organizing and presenting testimonial and documentary evidence in ‘under the influence’ cases and how drugs impair one’s ability to operate a vehicle.
