Ethics is Practice: Identification of Critical Ethical Challenges and a Framework for Decision Making

Course Description:

Ethics and legal mandates are more than guiding principles, they are foundations for practice. This seminar will provide an overview of the Code of Ethics and laws as well as explore the many slippery slopes in boundaries and dual roles, social engagement, use of media, confidentiality, etc. Focused attention will be given to the changes in the Code of Ethics (2017). A model to guide decision making will be explored.
