Course Description:

Geriatric clients frequently have challenging behaviors that can make the provision of care difficult. Unfortunately, pain is oftentimes at the root of these behaviors, including depressive symptoms. Poorly managed pain diminishes quality of life for older adults and can exacerbate disease. This two-hour workshop will provide you with an improved understanding of the multidimensional nature of pain and effective treatment strategies.
