Course Description:

This session has been developed to be practical and powerful. All participants will learn to understand Basic Restorative Practices as well as Restorative Justice philosophy. In addition, they will learn to facilitate community building and classroom circles, and engage in informal restorative conversation with students.

Designed for teachers and administrators alike, the facilitators will give educators the tools they need to engage students in informal restorative conversation (also called “Restorative Chat”). Administrators will understand how to build a restorative school environment.
