Course Description:

In this presentation participants will learn about the Standards of Practice for culturally competent care.  Achieving cultural competence is a process that involves cultural desire, awareness, knowledge, skills, and encounters. As healthcare professionals, “practicing in culturally sensitive ways is of the highest importance.”
