Course Description:
The 7th Annual Noojimo’iwewin: The VAWA and ICWA Training is a multidisciplinary learning opportunity designed to equip advocates and practitioners with effective, practical strategies in cases involving child welfare, domestic violence, or both. Rooted in a commitment to culturally responsive, community-based care, the training brings together experts and advocates from across Indian Country to translate policy into action and strengthen service delivery.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn from the Bay Mills Indian Community’s modern, cultural, and traditional restorative justice systems.
