Course Description:

This training is designed to assist supervisors in using the MichiCANS assessment data to enhance program quality oversight as well as supervisee clinical development. By introducing a developmental approach to supervision using the data from the MichiCANS, supervisors will be able to creatively organize supports and interventions to meet the unique needs of their program and staff, ultimately helping supervisees enhance their effectiveness when working with youth, children and their families. Supervisors will learn how to assess supervisees confidence and skill using TCOM tools for assessment, providing individualized support based on level of comfort and confidence of each staff member. Key concepts such as transformational supervision, develop mental approach to supervision and using data from MichiCANS to enhance program development and quality improvement processes
