Professional Ethics and Boundaries

Participants will recognize the ethical importance of maintaining professional

boundaries in client relationships.

-Participants will understand the need for establishing clear, culturally aware

boundaries to avoid harm and foster trust with clients.

-Participants will identify risk factors for boundary violations, such as emotional

overinvestment or client dependence.

-Participants will explore the balance between involvement and detachment in

professional relationships.

-Participants will apply professional judgment and self-reflection to maintain ethical

and healthy relationships with clients.

-Participants will understand the significance of protecting both the provider and the

client while ensuring effective practice.
