Trauma Assessment for Young Children

Course Description:

This workshop will teach theoretically-informed trauma assessment for young children, school-age children and adolescents in settings utilizing TF-CBT or other trauma informed or evidence based practices. Standardized tools in the public domain will be provided with recommendations for both administration and interpretation. Developmental, gender affirming and culturally-informed perspectives will be discussed to help practitioners choose appropriate assessment strategies; and case examples will be used for the purpose of discussion and application.
