Course Description:

The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with knowledge and skills to implement Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT); an evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). CPT has been endorsed by the Institute of Medicine as a first line treatment for PTSD, and related disorders, with individuals who have experienced all types of trauma including sexual assault, accidents, natural disasters and combat.
