However, many Social Workers do not grasp and/or understand the multi-complexitities of the human trafficking trade. Information shared will include what is human trafficking, what is the reality of what constitutes human trafficking, what is the best guesstimates of the numbers of victims not just in Michigan but nation-wide, what resources are available to assist those that have been exploited and how you can be an esstional ally to survivors and what you need to know about interacting and assisting those that have been victimized
