Course Description:

This training will provide the skills for CPS, foster care, and adoption workers to support adolescents who have

been sexually assaulted. One in three women and one in six men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetimes. The highest risk times for boys are under the age of 10, and for girls is ages 14-24 (rain.org, 2021). This training will identify risk factors and strategies for intervention and support for youth who have experienced sexual assault. This training will utilize role playing exercises, and small and large group discussion.
