Course Description:

Participants will develop a knowledge and understanding of basic ethical principles to build a foundation of ethical practice and guide their decision making in the treatment of individuals with substance use disorders. As part of the ethical principles, the training will address building and maintaining healthy boundaries, and client confidentiality. Participants will be encouraged to explore how personal morals and values contribute to their ethical decision making.
