Course Description:
The ever-changing world created by COVID-19 has created unique challenges in caring for oneself while caring for others. This is especially relevant to social workers who often work in crisis and with vulnerable populations. Managing stress and prioritizing wellness is an ethical responsibility and has the potential to improve personal wellbeing and improve outcomes for clients and organizations. In this session participants will gain an increased understanding of the biology of stress with a focus on proactive and reactive opportunities for wellness.
