Course Description:

An old social work/counseling axiom is ‘to meet the client where they are’, and Stages of Change provides language and guidelines for doing so. Motivational Interviewing offers us a framework to understand the process of change, the role of ambivalence within that process and the skills to move through the Stages of Change.
