Course Description:
Leadership skills can help social workers in all career levels and at both the micro and macro levels of practice. Leadership may look difference across the many disciplines we work with highlighting the need to articulate what social work leadership is. This presentation will focus on how to identify our current leadership skills, the difference between leadership and management, how to create leadership opportunities, and how to communicate social work leadership within interprofessional teams.
