Making Difficult Decisions: The Ethics of Working with Older Adults

  • Live Webinar United States (map)

Course Description:

Although alcohol continues to be the most commonly used and misused substance among older adults, the misuse of other substances is also of significant concern. Benzodiazepines, opioids, and “medical” or recreational marijuana can lead to dependency and have many side effects. This presentation will provide helpful information, strategies, and resources for engaging with older adults who have a substance use disorder, and enhancing their motivation to participate in addictions treatment.
