Course Description:

Nationally, one third of all treatment admissions for substance use are for women. Among these women, it is estimated 55-99% of them have experienced trauma. However, less than one third of the SUD treatment programs offer women specific programs or groups. In Kent County, several programs are offered specifically for women to address their unique needs. This workshop will provide information on what it takes to effectively serve women with co-occurring disorders.
