Ethics, Mental Health and COVID-19

Course Description:

This seminar is to identify, explore and address the current and impending impact on our society’s mental health.  The ethical considerations will be on the NASW Values of service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence.  In addressing the mental health crisis, we are presently in, we need to recognize how the pandemic is impacting Social Workers personally and professionally, as well as the impact and treatment services for that of our Clients.  We need to obtain information as current as possible, cautioning ourselves and our Clients on the ever-changing knowledge, and how we facilitate mental health treatment.
