Course Description:
Over the past few weeks, several states and cities across the nation have started releasing COVID-19 outcomes by race. The prelimary numbers reveal that black people are facing higher risks when it comes to the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. This session looks at how hundreds of years of racism has delivered poor health and economic outcomes for Black people, making them more vulnerable in the COVID-19 pandemic.
