Course Description:
This program will explore signs of human trafficking and why certain populations are vulnerable to human trafficking. It will also identify resources and gaps in services available to victims, as well as identify the roles healthcare professionals can play to assist victims and survivors. Speakers will include a human trafficking survivor, a victim specialist from the FBI, a licensed social worker, and an activist.
