Michigan Indian Day: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls: A Community Response to the Crisis Nationally and in Michigan

  • Live Webinar United States (map)

Course Description:

Link will be emailed 2 days prior to webinar. This course is a live webinar occurring on September 22, 2020 beginning at 10:00AM-12:15PM. Hundreds of books and workbooks have been written to help families and children deal with every conceivable childhood diagnosis. This webinar will focus on six childhood treatment issues (depression; anger, worries, and anxiety; touching and sexual abuse; trauma; family violence; and self-concept and self-esteem) and how to specifically utilize available literature to alleviate the symptoms and stresses of these expressions in children. The age range is limited to 3-8 years old for content management but I've found in my practice that children's helping books have been incredibly important in the trauma work I've done across the lifespan. A comprehensive compilation of books by treatment issue will be available to participants, including a synopsis and preferred age range for each child.
