Course Description:

  This workshop presents the Trauma Model, a treatment model developed by Dr. Colin Ross, MD; and the Trauma Recovery Program, which uses the Model in small group settings, expanded to include spiritual injuries, as well as psychological ones, which occur due to childhood abuse and neglect. The Trauma Model helps survivors to identify conflicts and unlearn specific cognitive distortions. It focuses on the healing which occurs on an emotional level with an emphasis on regulating feelings. It also teach the importance of understanding the effects of trauma and when they continue.
