Course Description:

Understanding the intersection of rehab, palliative care and hospice is important as we care for an aging population with life limiting illnesses. Education regarding the appropriate time and involvement of hospice and palliative care will help care for patients in a way that is realistic and promotes their dignity and autonomy. Identifying barriers and discussing a framework to overcome those barriers will help healthcare providers to assist patients in a more personal manner.
