Course Description:
You may have heard the terms before, but are you creating a space for ALL your clients to explore and understand pansexual and asexual orientations? Mark and Jared will offer tips on providing culturally competent care when treating clients who identify as pansexual or asexual and help clinicians distinguish between pathologizing healthy forms of sexual behavior from other forms, such as hypoactive sexual desire disorder or serial monogamy. This workshop will also offer the opportunity to hear first-hand what it’s like being treated as an asexual in a clinical setting, and an opportunity to bring your own questions from your current caseload
