Course Description:

This workshop will look at the Flint water crisis through the lens of systemic racism. It will discuss strategic steps to moving traumatized communities forward by addressing long-standing disinvestment and ingrained hopelessness and helplessness. The workshop will help you to put the strengths perspective into action in a community where strength is sometimes difficult to identify, while simultaneously working with community, local, state, and federal governments to address policy issues.
