Course Description:

Dementia affects nearly all families, yet diagnosis is often missed and services, for both the person with dementia and their family members, are often limited. This workshop includes the experience, insights and adjustments of a couple facing the husband's dementia. It will provide suggestions on ways social worker and health care professionals can facilitate diagnosis and support for affected families. Students are welcome.
