Course Description:

In this presentation, participants will be provided with an overview of the astounding development of the human brain during adolescence. They will walk away being able to identify at least three ways the brain matures during adolescence, how this growth impacts emotional experiences and social participation, and understand how this particular period of brain development can uncover mental health illness. This information will be used to identify therapeutic techniques appropriate during the period of development.
