Course Description:
This presentation
will help participants better understand how to protect Electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) as required by HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS’s meaningful use requirements, now known as Promoting Interoperability (PI). ISC will also provide updated enforcement actions by the Office for Civil Rights/Health and Human Services (OCR/HHS) and present the latest focus and developments regarding HIPAA.
