August is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month! Health observances are important opportunities to raise awareness of health issues and promote health and well-being through educational messages. How do we take advantage of this moment and others year round to promote breastfeeding? Today, we will talk about why breastfeeding is a public health imperative for women and learn ways to get that message out.
