Course Description:

This course reviews some serious legal consequences that need to be considered in Caregiver relationships. Whether the primary caregiver is an adult child or another who manages the elders affairs and makes all of the decisions for that elder, there are Numerous risks. The course will view caregiving from the perspective of fiduciary duties, tax issues, family conflicts, and potential effects on government benefits that could occur when caregivers are compensated incorrectly.
