Course Description:

Motivational Interviewing has identified four overlapping processes that one encounters in practice, all equally present and important.   These processes are Engagement, Focusing, Evoking and Guiding.  Last month’s workshop focused on Engagement, this month’s will be on Focusing, the ongoing process of seeking and maintaining direction and providing the foundation during an individual session and throughout ongoing treatment.

Previous training in Motivational Interviewing is encouraged.
