Course Description:

Motivational Interviewing has identified four overlapping processes that one encounters in practice, all equally present and important.   These processes are Engagement, Focusing, Evoking and Guiding.  This workshop will focus on Engagement, “the process of establishing a mutually trusting and respectful helpful relationship”.

Previous training in Motivational Interviewing is encouraged.
